Nick's Soup Series

Hello Friends,

There’s something about fall that makes a warm bowl of soup feel like home to me. I cook with rich flavors and generous seasoning, and I reach for fresh ingredients from our own garden whenever I can. I didn’t grow up with a wide spice cabinet -- mostly salt, pepper, and the occasional Lawry’s -- so discovering herbs and spices as a young cook blew my mind (curry was an “aha!” moment that changed everything). Even now, the sound of veggies hitting a hot pot and the waft of aromatics opening up feels like magic. This Soup Series is my way of sharing that joy—made in our kitchen by me, with love from my husband Joe and our cats, Jinx & Freya, and Ruby our dog supervising from a safe distance. I just love feeding people and seeing the smiles that good food brings. 

For me, delicious food is one of the things that makes life worth living.
